A leading global law firm based in The City are looking for a Diversity Coordinator to join the team. Reporting into the Diversity Manager, this role will form part of the global diversity, inclusion and wellbeing team and you will be responsible for (but not limited to):
General diversity support
Working with the Diversity & Wellbeing Manager including organizing and preparing for diversity meetings, filing, maintaining databases etc.
Responsibility for diversity communications, including maintaining and regularly updating the general diversity, awards and network sites, weekly bulletin, calendars, social media, press etc.
Events and employee networks
Acting as principle contact
Managing the event tracker spread sheet and diary for all network events
Liaising with network chairs on setting and distributing meeting agendas
Attending and following up on actions from network committee meetings
Event logistics including liaising with speakers and networks to schedule event dates, organizing room bookings etc.
Event communications including drafting, publishing and advertising invitations for diversity and employee network events
Diversity statistics, reporting and awards
Managing diversity statistics and all requests for statistics including quarterly updates, statistics for reporting, benchmarks, award submissions and client/pitch and other requests
Undertaking specific ad hoc projects as directed
Assisting with research for projects, policy reviews and employment updates
Attending external diversity events and forums
As the Diversity Coordinator you will possess:
A genuine interest in diversity and inclusion with relevant experience in managing and coordinating events
Experience of organizing events
Strong organizational skills
Cultural sensitivity and inclusive approach
Strong written and verbal communication skills
