Your new company
We are looking to recruit for a senior level role for a global organisation with an office in Manchester & a current staff base of 500 heads with offices in a number of European countries

Your new role
Reporting into the CEO of the business you will be responsible for implementing learning and development strategies, processes and policies across the business. The role will be based out of their Manchester office, however, there will be a requirement to travel to their different European sites from time to time so flexibility is must for this role. In terms of the remit, you will be responsible for the full L & D/Talent of the group which currently consists of about 500 staff with over 100 in their Manchester office. In terms of job functions, the business does have all their supporting/corporate functions as well as more specialist roles. Develop and support people and culture strategies, initiatives and programmes that effectively support the mission, vision, values and corporate objectives of the Company. Support the leadership team to ensure performance management processes are embedded across the business. Design and implement plans to identify, nurture and develop talent, to create a pipeline for future leadership and address recruitment and retention challenges. Provide expertise and advice to senior leaders to help create a high performing, motivated, highly skilled and engaged workforce Facilitate continuous improvement strategies, working with senior management to improve culture/processes. Identify talent management needs that fit with business requirements and establish initiatives for development, including succession management and critical role mapping. Provide retention, development and staffing plans to proactively address talent gaps. Facilitate engagement activities to positively impact employee satisfaction. Support leaders with performance management by identifying ways to maintain and improve employee performance in line with the Company's objectives

What you'll need to succeed
Experienced senior-level L & D candidate with good HR experience in talent planning/succession planning & engagement remit.
Previous experience of working within an international organisation
Experience of working within an E-commerce or digital marketing sector would be preferable
Experience of reporting into senior levels director/ceo level
Must be able to travel to other European countries at least twice per month

You will be offered a full-time permanent position based in Manchester with the opportunity to potentially do a day from home and a salary range of up to £75k.
