My client, are a leading provider of carrier and cloud-neutral colocation data centre services in Europe, serving a wide range of customers through 50 data centres in 11 European countries.

They are seeking a Senior HR Advisor to deliver all operational aspects of the HR department effectively and efficiently and comply with local legislation and company policy and procedures.

This role is made up of 50% recruitment due to growth in the company and 50% HR Generalist (ER/ Payroll etc) duties.

Primary responsibilities:

Employee relations:

  • The HR Advisor will be the 1st point of contact for all employees

  • Guiding managers and employees through the Company's capability and conduct management processes: holding investigation meetings/disciplinary hearings where appropriate

Recruitment:

  • Supporting and at times running the recruitment process

Employee administration

  • Ensuring 100% accuracy of the HR Information System

  • Provide monthly/quarterly management reports on: absence, recruitment, training, employee relations, bonus accruals, headcount

  • Independently managing all employee administration: contract generation, reference checking, probation review outcome letters, notification of changes to terms and conditions of employment, agree social calendar and organise events, administering contractor process, ensure that all suppliers are paid in line with terms agreed.

  • Ensuring solid execution of local payroll and benefits

  • Managing company's payroll and pension. Ensuring 100% accuracy.

  • Providing monthly reporting to local and HQ Finance. Ensuring all company benefits are administered in a timely fashion and brokers are kept informed of all changes to personnel.

Responsible for all local people processes:

  • Support the annual performance management process

  • Support in Training & development

  • Support in Local Comp & Benefits

What are we looking for:

  • Up to date knowledge of UK employment legislation

  • Demonstrable experience of handling employee relations queries

  • Proven experience of working with ADP (payroll)

  • Demonstrable knowledge of the obligations under Auto Enrolment and proven experience of working with an online pensions platform

  • Past experience of salary sacrifice benefits packages
