My client is a global marketing company who are looking for a Head of HR to join their office in Middlesex. You will work in a standalone capacity for the UK, with experience in a similar Head of HR/Senior HRBP role. Looking after the UK headcount, you will work closely with senior leads across corporate functions so experience supporting senior leads is crucial.
This is a "roll up your sleeves" role, with no shared service function so you have to be happy to get involved in all aspects of the day to day function. HR is perceived well in the London office, so you will continue to ensure communication and engagement is held to a high standard.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing the organisation and people agenda, ensuring capabilities and talent for the future is in place as effectively as possible.
Areas of the business that you will take on include:
Talent Acquisition and Management - continuously lead on recruiting new talent, building talent pools, improving the new induction process and conducting training needs analysis
Reward - review staff job classification, salary and benefit structures, whilst providing HR advice to line managers and employees on all matters
HR Systems/Process/Operations - enhancing local HR tools and processes
Employee Relations - work closely with Managers providing guidance on compliance and risk factors, as well as any HR issues such as performance management
Ad hoc projects
You will come from a generalist background with preferential experience in L&D, reward and of course business partnering. Strong influencing skills, as well as the ability to push back when needed is key!
