The Oakleaf Partnership are working with a Tech Business to recruit for their Head of People & Culture.
Your Responsibilities
Lead the People & Culture (P&C) function and fully support the wider business sharing collective responsibility for overall business success
Work with the CEO and rest of Exec Team to shape the People & Culture strategy and to develop, motivate and reward it's people
Ensure the People & Culture contribution to the business plan is delivered in through recruiting the right people at the right time and at the right cost, via sound planning and a commercial, business-like approach running an efficient and effective recruitment process, issuing offers and contracts of employment
Ensure new joiners come in on approved packages and terms which are in line with their agreed framework
Develop viable career paths for people at all levels and in all roles, and leadership development plans for high potential people
Ensure succession plans are in place for all key senior roles across the business, and deputies in place for all critical roles
Develop and sound and clear policies and efficient HR processes for all aspects of the management of people
Manage employee relations and associated processes, disciplinary, grievance, performance improvement, redundancy
Experience, Skills & Aptitudes
CIPD or equivalent qualified
Comfortable in a fast paced, non-hierarchical small / medium business environment
Well-developed business acumen, with a pragmatic and commercial approach - understanding that people are critical assets but also a significant cost to the business
Strong management skills, including goal setting and prioritisation, coaching, listening and delegating
Innovative and creative thinking
High levels of motivation and self-management, resilience and tenacity in dealing with adversity
Exceptionally strong personal organisation, time management and project management skills will be critical in this busy role.
