Ashley Kate are pleased to be working with our client, a UK wide retail organisation, who are recruiting for a HR Advisor to join the team on a permanent basis. This role will offer you the autonomy to manage your own work load. The role is based from their head office in Cardiff where you will be working in their modern offices with travel to their distribution site once a week.
This a fantastic opportunity to join the HR team of this established and well-respected retailer. If you have a background in manufacturing or fast-paced environment then this role will be perfect for you.
Applicants will need to have previous experience in providing generalist HR advice and guidance to managers across a range of issues. You will need to be experienced in dealing with a variety of employee relations issues as well as having worked on change management projects and recruitment campaigns. Previous multi-site experience is essential and previous experience of working within a fast paced, demanding retail environment is preferred.
Duties of the role will include but not be limited to:
- Supporting with store managers and assistant managers recruitment
- Conduct disciplinary' and grievances
- Monitor probations reviews
- Assist and support regional managers with changes to terms and conditions, probation reviews and absence management
- HR related project work as instructed by the HR manager
- Any other duties reasonably requested
