My client is a high-profile National Charity and having recently been awarded its Royal Charter status it is growing at an exciting rate. To support their mission of transforming the aspirations and life skills of thousands of young people across the UK they are recruiting for an experienced People and Remuneration Manager to join the People Team.
The role incumbent may be a specialist or generalist in nature. You will be a trusted business partner, assessing and anticipating People related needs and developing integrated solutions. You will formulate partnerships across the People team to deliver value-added services to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organisation. You will ensure quality execution through a hands-on approach to the design and delivery of reward projects, building a reputation for quality and impact. You will be responsible for revamping remuneration frameworks to ensure the adoption of best practice and alignment to the strategic objectives of the organisation.
As People and Remuneration Manager, you will lead and manage the people management-related agenda for internal clients and lead in remuneration change management projects. Ideally this role will suit either a reward specialist with business partnering experience or a generalist HR professional with experience developing reward or benefits frameworks. You will have worked in a commercial or corporate multi stakeholder and ambiguous environment where you can demonstrate your understanding of the organisations commercial drivers and add value and new ideas to the strategy.
This role not only concentrates on renumeration but its effect on talent, how you would develop a plan to drive consistency of this approach across the organisation in attracting, managing and developing talent to support current and future organisational needs. You will ensure remuneration strategies, policies and reporting comply with the organisations governance and are legally compliant. You will have a strong understanding of Employment Law and provide expert advice to the business on remuneration processes ensuring the processes are fair and equitable and in line with the Remuneration strategy. With experience working with change projects from TUPE or organisational change you will be able to evidence your success developing and leading on such reward and compensation frameworks. Professional and a skilled communicator you will be able to influence stakeholders, evidence problem solving skills and build strong and effective relationships across the business.
