Oakleaf Partnership are working with a luxury hospitality concierge business who are looking for a HR People Business Partner to join their expanding business in central London. Reporting to the Head of People, you will act as a first point of call for all people-related matters ensuring the highest level of services for all employees and managers. Advising on overall human resources policies and procedures, this role will be instrumental in the delivery of the people strategy and will involve designing HR processes to improve employee relations and encourage employee engagement.

The post-holder will work closely with the Head of People and COO to implement changes and champion people-led initiatives and practices that constantly create a culture of improvement and inclusivity.
Ensure that all new starters have received a copy of their contract of employment ahead of their first day (LHR, EDI & BHX)
Partnering with the lounge managers & general managers on various HR areas, such as recruitment, payroll costs, employee relations and succession planning.
Management and distribute daily payroll budget updates to key stakeholders in the business
Coaching and partnering with various key stakeholders within the business on support for the people function.
In the absence of the Head of people, supporting/managing the function, ensuring business as usual operations are being completed.
Analyse and understand retention and turnover of staff
Annual pay-rate benchmarking
Advise and support Managers and Supervisors with employee relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, attendance meetings and performance issues.
Support the Head of People in implementing an annual Engagement survey and reporting of findings
Key-player in the project management of a new HR & Payroll system
Reward and recognition programme design and roll-out.
Collaborate on the design and implementation of a new appraisal system
Operational readiness project on international development
Integral stakeholder in our employee engagement strategy
HR training for FLMs.
Experience of working in a fast-paced environment would be desirable with a background in retail, hospitality or FMCG.
CIPD Level 5 or above is essential
Good working knowledge of UK and EU employment law is essential
3+ years previous HR experience within an SME or large organisation is essential
Experience of complex ER cases and applying legislation to ER situations is essential.
