Head of HR
My client, a PE backed start up tech firm urgently require a Head of HR to cover a 6 month maternity during a period of growth. You would be responsible for managing the HR team who are split across several global offices as well as leading a big recruitment drive and the training of staff.
Managing a team of 6
Recruitment: managing Exec hiring and acting as the point of escalation
On-boarding: relocation support, induction, implementing and performing training for new recruits including internal systems
Internal promotion and salary reviews: advising on annual salary reviews, departmental restructuring, annual performance reviews and bonus payments
Off-boarding: redundancies, dismissals, conducting exit interviews, collation and analysis of leaver data
Employee relations: you will be proactive in preventing issues before they arise, acting as a point of contact for employee and managerial concerns and suggestions, fast and thorough resolution of problems
Review, development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
Cultivate strong working relationships with all colleagues within the business - working in the London office and remotely - including senior management and the executive team, delivering feedback where appropriate
Excellent interpersonal skills, a good listener with a high level of integrity
Excellent written and spoken English, strong attention to detail
International experience a plus, especially knowledge of regional European employment law advantageous
Experience of or a commercial understanding of a dynamic and faced paced start up environment.
