This is a Head of HR role which combines both operational and strategic HR, leading an established team and driving the people agenda.
This is an established organisation in Leicestershire with 300+ staff.
This is a superb opportunity to be the most senior HR person in the Organisation and play an influential role in taking the people agenda forward to become a great place to work.
As Head of HR your role will be a mix of Operational & Strategic HR.
You will lead a team of 6 and play a pivotal role on the Organisation's Senior Leadership team ensuring HR has a positive and visible presence as an enabler to deliver the short term, medium and long-term business goals through its people.
You will also champion a culture that drives and recognises high performance and enables the Organisation to attract and retain the best talent.
As Head of HR you will lead key people projects including:
- Agile Working
- Talent attraction, development & retention
- Apprenticeships & internships
- Reviewing pay policies
The successful candidate will be an established Head of HR or Senior HR Manager with proven background in operational AND strategic HR including organisation-wide projects, coaching & talent management.
You will have a strong background in people management and development and be externally focused with excellent communicating and stakeholder management skills.
As Head of HR you will have the ability to manage several projects at once as well as being resilient and able to manage complex situations and deliver creative and innovative solutions.
CIPD Membership is essential to be considered for this role.
Experience within the Public Sector or Not for Profit is ideal.
