A 12m maternity cover opportunity is available for an experienced Talent Manager (HR Manager / HRBP) in a global management consultancy. Reporting into the Head of HR, this role a trusted and strategic advisor to senior HR colleagues, the client group leadership team and the consultant population. The role will support a UK client group that is aiming to grow by 20%.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of HR to execute and embed the people strategy which will attract, retain and develop talent

  • Jointly manage and support the HR Administrators ensuring they are developed, motivated and supported

  • Develop trusted working relationships with the Head of HR and wider ODHR team, senior leadership and consultants

  • Be seen as a trusted advisor and go-to person for advice and support by the business and by ODHR colleagues

  • Involvement in all aspects of the Performance Management process

  • Conduct exit interviews, analyse the data and identify trends and areas of focus

  • Assist with the year-end salary review, bonus process and the promotion process

  • Review headcount and succession plans, ensuring they are used to inform hiring decisions and talent programmes

  • Manage the Career Coach and mentor programmes

  • Develop training programmes and support the development of the wider EMEA training curriculum

  • Liaise with the EMEA recruitment team and provide ongoing input and support

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and CIPD qualification preferable but not essential

  • HR and talent management (BP) experience in a professional services environment

  • Proven track record of adding value in a fast paced environment

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly establish credibility and respect with people at all levels including senior management
