THE ROLE

This is a fantastic new role to further strengthen our Diversity and Inclusion team, and continue to build on the great work that the team has been doing throughout our international firm.

The Diversity and Inclusion Advisor will:

  • Support the Head of Diversity and Inclusion in the delivery of the agreed D&I strategic objectives of the International firm, in all Regions and in key jurisdictions;

  • Lead specific Diversity & Inclusion initiatives and projects that support the broader D&I strategy and position the firm as a leader for Diversity and Inclusion;

  • Support business led diversity projects and initiatives

  • Identify opportunities to embed D&I into management practices and HR policy and processes

  • Provide subject matter expertise and support to the business, including local HR Business Partners and, HR leaders.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This wide ranging role will include

  • Support the implementation of specific initiatives aligned to the gender talent pipeline strategy

  • Managing and supporting resource group meetings and activities/events

  • Developing and maintaining D&I content for Proposal Generator and pitches

  • Raising D&I awareness and supportin the development and implementation of D&I training and collaborating with Learning and Development colleagues

  • Coaching and advising on D&I aspects of talent acquisition, talent management and career development e.g. succession planning, performance management

  • Supporting the firm's international wellbeing programme, in partnership with HR colleagues

  • Supporting the firm's partnerships with external organisations involved in D&I

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

  • Sound working knowledge of D&I best practices and how these link to HR practices, with demonstrable relevant experience of implementing D&I programmes and initiatives

  • A genuine passion and enthusiasm for diversity and inclusion

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Able to quickly build relationships at all levels and influence, persuade and coach

  • A can-do attitude and a robust level of emotional resilience, strong judgement, and the ability to exercise discretion and sensitivity

  • Analytical, able to assimilate large amounts of information and data and technologically savvy

  • Organized and efficient, able to manage multiple projects and competing priorities

  • Educated to graduate level or equivalent
