My client a global Real Estate business are currently seeking a polished, credible and engaging HR Advisor to support the corporate functions in their HQ in central London.
You will be responsible for providing a full HR advisory service across the whole of the UK. Working with the Divisional HR Business Partner, this is a broad generalist role encompassing day-to-day HR and more ad-hoc project work as required. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy and varied role where you will need to be able to build relationships with employees and managers across the whole business unit. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with key stakeholders in the business and 4 UK Board members sit within the client group.
Supporting the Divisional HR Business Partner to deliver HR strategy and Divisional goals
Managing small client base of junior managers for all people matters, providing updates to the HR Business Partner for escalation into wider Divisional matters
Providing advice and guidance to management and employees on general HR queries
Managing absence cases, including sickness and family leave
Completing disciplinary investigations and managing hearings for less complex situations e.g. sickness, timekeeping, basic conduct or performance issues
Completing grievance investigations and managing hearings for less complex situations e.g. issues between work colleagues, concerns re job role connect etc.
Escalate complex employee relations issues to the Divisional HR Business Partner and assist with cases where appropriate
Supporting the HR Business Partner on Change Initiatives e.g. restructuring and redundancy programmes
Representing the HR function via on-site visits and feeding back any concerns or ideas
HR Business Improvement Champion - analysing where HR processes and systems can be made more effective and efficient
Liaising with central Shared Service team to ensure paperwork is completed accurately and within required timescales
Providing administrative support on more complex employment contracts, changes and grievance/disciplinary outcome documents
HR Project team member, presenting ideas and driving recommendations through to successful conclusion
Support the Divisional HR Business Partner with the annual promotion process, analysing data, providing regular updates and interviewing candidates
Support the Divisional HR Business Partner with the annual remuneration process, analysing data, providing regular updates and creating documentation
Support the Divisional HR Business Partner with implementation of divisional diversity plan
Management reporting, presenting analysis and recommendations to key Leaders re trends and concerns (Divisional Board Meeting attendee)
Driver of Talent Management and Succession Planning programmes to future proof and retain staff liaising with Graduate and People Development teams
