Learning & Development Advisor - Legal

A leading Law firm based in The City are recruiting for a Learning & Development Advisor to join their firm. This role will directly assist the Head of Talent Development along with working closely with the rest of the L&D team and wider HR team.

This role has an international remit and as the Learning & Development you will be responsible for:

  • Developing strong internal relationships with the practice groups and Business Services functions

  • Initiating development conversations and identifying training and development needs throughout the business

  • Designing and delivering commercially focused learning programmes

  • Project managing the delivery of the company's annual development programmes

  • Reviewing and evaluating effectiveness of all programmes and learning initiatives

  • Supporting the development and delivery of firm-wide projects and initiatives

  • Taking budgetary responsibility for training/programmes as allocated by Head of Talent Development and L&D Manager

  • Delegating to L&D Assistant

  • Producing management information to support L&D operation

  • Working closely and managing relationships with external suppliers

  • Developing own external network to support the sharing and introduction of new ideas

As the Learning & Development Advisor, you will possess:

  • Relevant experience of working within an L&D team, ideally in professional services

  • Strong academics

  • Ability to identify learning needs and applying the appropriate learning intervention

  • A creative approach to designing and implementing learning solutions

  • Strong project management skills
