Your new role
Reporting into the HR Manager, working within a team of 3 this is an outstanding opportunity to join an organisation that is rapidly growing. There is a real opportunity within this role to develop your HR experience extending to support employee relations issues and policy development. There may also be CIPD study support available for the right candidate
Responsible for: Providing an efficient and professional HR Administration and HR Service throughout the company under the direction of the HR Manager.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Processing all information for staff members within the employee lifecycle, including processing contracts, amendments, and leavers.
Using the online onboarding system as the start of the onboarding process for new employees.
Monitoring applications, creating/amending workflows.
Adding/removing/amending on recruitment tool platforms working with recruiting Managers on the interview/hiring process.
Sourcing Agency staff through approved supplier list when necessary
Maintain the database of DBS checks
Monitoring Sickness / Maternity / Paternity Absence ensuring documents are up to date and process has been followed
Maintaining the company filing system for all staff files as per compliance standards
Ensuring full compliance such as right to work documentation for all staff
Answering internal or external inquiries or requests and provide assistance
Building relationships with higher management and unit management teams
Handling internal/external calls and mail - distributing to HR and payroll as appropriate
Working with the Payroll department to deadline and to assist the Payroll Coordinator as required.
Developing understanding of the TUPE, Disciplinary, Grievance and Performance Management processes.
Encouraging Smart Working - being able to voice ideas on how we can become more efficient.
Knowledge of HR & Payroll Systems desirable
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally CIPD Level 3 qualified
Proven experience in a similar role
Strong organisational skills, ability to effectively prioritise
Able to understand Management issues and advise accordingly on behalf of ER team if unavailable

What you'll get in return
A base salary of £23,000 - £25,000
*May sponsor CIPD*
Woking hours 8.30am - 5.00pm
