The Head of HR will be responsible for leading, motivating and developing the HR team and providing proactive employee relations support as well as delivering efficient recruitment practice and compliance across all four Schools.

This is an exciting time for HR as we meet the changing needs of our four Schools. As Head of HR your focus will be align to the vision and values of the School by designing, leading and implementing a people and recruitment strategy which meets the future needs of the School, with a focus on but not limited to, recruitment, employee relations, HR Projects including colleague engagement, organisation design, training and development and succession planning. You will be responsible for implementing good HR practice and ensuring robust compliance in safeguarding and recruitment procedures, which comply with the Independent Schools Inspectorate standards.
We are looking for a candidate who has strong executive and senior management stakeholder experience, who is diplomatic and able to lend the very best in commercial and pragmatic HR whilst remembering we are an Independent School who is focused on driving strong stakeholder collaboration to deliver the best educational outcomes for our pupils.
The ideal candidate should be educated to degree level or equivalent qualification and is CIPD qualified with previous experience of supporting senior leaders and management in a Head of HR role or HR Business Partnering Role.
Experience of working with Schools or Academies is highly desirable but not essential.
