HR Business Partner

A reputable car manufacturer on the outskirts of Norwich are seeking a senior HR Business Partner with an automotive/engineering background to strengthen their forward-thinking HR function. You will support their exciting growth plans to become a worldwide, luxury brand. Significant investment will see new car launches, improved facilities, overseas expansion and ambitious recruitment plans. Partnering with their engineering division, the HR Business Partner job will be based at their Head Office in Norwich, Norfolk with travel expected across the UK.
The HR Business Partner will report to the Head of Human Resources and advise the Engineering Senior Management on HR strategy, policies and practices. You will be integral to the deployment of HR strategy for your business unit. You will ensure Senior Management are aware of changes in employment law, develop a cohesive and productive relationship with staff council and focus on continuous improvement. You can also expect to lead on high profile HR projects to support the organisation's agenda for significant growth and positive change.
You will be an established HR Business Partner with a business related degree or equivalent, and ideally be a chartered member of the CIPD. Previous experience within a fast-paced automotive or engineering environment is essential, with a good knowledge of engineering. The successful applicant will have a natural ability to influence and a broad repertoire of generalist HR experience including in-depth employment law knowledge, employee relations, reward, organisational design and development, international HRM and change management. To succeed you must be proactive and inquisitive with excellent interpersonal skills, and a high degree of commercialism.
