Recruitment & Resourcing Advisor

Oakleaf are working on an exciting inhouse recruiter opportunity for a growing hotel company in London. The role is split 90% recruitment and 10% HR generalist. It is the perfect vacancy for a recruiter keen to gain some in-house experience or an inhouse recruiter to progress in their career.

Duties include:

  • Coordinate all internal and external recruitment campaigns

  • Manage and develop ATS provision with third parties and training for HOD's

  • Work closely with department heads to understand and act on their recruitment needs

  • Working with department heads on defining requirements & producing effective job descriptions

  • Liaise with walk-in applicants

  • Screen a high volume of CVs including shortlisting quality candidates and telephone screening

  • Meet and greet candidates arriving for interviews and telephone screening

  • Develop and manage a system to track and monitor recruitment campaigns

  • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, providing advice on best practice with recruitment process, employment legislation and the best methods for selection and interviews

  • Manage offers/declines/HR compliance (e.g. offer letters, contracts of employment, references etc.

  • Ensure Right to Work documents are checked and compliant with the Home Office before new starters join the Company

  • Responsible for ensuring new starter checklist is completed for internal and external candidates

  • Liaise with Payroll regarding internal transfers ensuring changes to contractual terms are documented and signed

  • Ensure advertisements (internal/external) are correct

  • Implement candidate attraction approaches to source high caliber, suitable candidates as quickly and efficiently as possible, ensuring costs are kept to a minimum

  • Manage recruitment social media tools and/or presence (in conjunction with website lead)

  • Manage 3rd party suppliers including job boards and recruitment agencies

  • Maintain good working relations with agencies including negotiating best costs

  • Constantly review recruitment processes to ensure continuous improvement

  • Participate in job fairs, from time to time, promoting the Company and sector

  • Develop and implement an Apprenticeship Scheme

  • Produce reports and metrics when required

  • Establish and maintain additional recruitment pipeline opportunities and sourcing from Europe and other countries as and when required

  • Establish relationships with schools, FE colleges and Universities to enable attraction of students interested in a career in hospitality
