I'm working on a very exciting opportunity for a Financial Services firm that work with Media clients. This HR Assistant will report directly into the Head of HR and will be involved with all aspects of generalist HR support such as new joiners, leavers, comp and benefits administration, supporting recruitment, handling HR queries, producing correspondence, creating HR reports, documenting leave and absence, assisting with projects and much more.

This is a superb role which will provide the successful candidate the chance to work for a unique FS brand, career development and increased responsibilities with time.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and coordinate the joiner process

  • Conduct new joiner HR inductions, providing guidance on policies and practices.

  • Administer and coordinate the leaver process

  • Support the pay review and profit share process

  • Maintaining the data on the system and creating and collating the supporting correspondence for employees.

  • Create letters and new contracts where appropriate for salary increases, promotions, and changes to working hours.

  • Manage the flexible benefits site

  • Provide coordination support for recruitment campaigns

  • Train managers and recruitment agencies on use of the recruitment system.

  • Liaise with recruitment agencies, candidates and managers to arrange interviews.

  • Provide CVs and interview notes to relevant parties throughout the process and prepare assessment centre packs where appropriate

  • Manage the training nomination and approval process and training records.

Requirements:

  • Educated to degree standard preferably with a 2:1

  • Strong interest in pursuing HR as a career

  • Previous HR experience within a FS or professional services business

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Able to liaise at all levels in a business

  • Possesses the ability to challenge and "push back"

  • Bright, on the ball and dynamic.

  • Strong Microsoft skills
