Head of Recruitment & Development - Interim - 6 months

Oakleaf Partnership are currently partnering with a leading and fast growing beauty business who are looking to appoint a Head of Recruitment & Development to join their team on an interim basis for 6 months. The organisation is one of the fastest growing brands within the industry with a strong technology focus, who are highly ambitious and constantly looking for innovation. As Head of Recruitment & Development you will report to the Director of People and you will have management and leadership responsibilities for a high performing team of four.

You will set the strategic direction on recruitment, talent, learning, employee engagement, career and leadership development, globally, ensuring the business retains its talent and engages colleagues to deliver excellence in performance which will create a culture of high performance and self-development.

Role Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for all skill-based training and the review of how they deliver this as the business continues to grow globally

  • Manage all external partnerships with job boards and third-party retained and search providers

  • Accountable for the Talent Acquisition Strategy and responsible for the employer brand vision

  • Responsible for ensuring they have the correct selection processes in place to hire the best talent across our business areas, primarily; Technology, Digital, Creative & Retail

  • Support business growth and flexibility, forecasting hiring demand needs including the creation of an effective Organisational Design structure and process

  • Oversee the accurate and timely reporting of all recruitment metrics, working with the various business partners to manage the headcount process

  • Build collaborative relationships and excellent communication with key stakeholders across our Directors, C-Suite and Global business

  • Management of the annual budget planning process for Recruitment and Learning & development

  • Work with the reward function to ensure appropriate benchmarking and role definitions

  • Hands on management of C-suite and Senior level campaigns

  • Lead, motivate and develop the recruitment team to be recognised as experts in their field, enhancing the reputation of recruitment both internally and externally

  • Lead the external brand awareness through our various social and digital platforms, including the implementation of new systems/channels

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Able to influence and communicate your own point of view

  • Creative and unorthodox thinker, able to push projects forward in an unstructured environment

  • Methodical, logical, organised and calm under pressure

  • Extensive recruitment experience gained within a fast-paced environment

  • Experience of recruiting internationally, with a particular focus on Asia
