Senior Reward Manager, UK & Europe


We are recruiting the Senior Reward Manager to work collaboratively with the regional HR lead and team, UK management and the Business Support peer group to ensure an excellent compensation and benefits service, which reflects and supports the strategic and operational needs of the UK business and meets the requirements of the wider international Reward Strategy.

You will work within the specialist International Compensation & Benefits team, with autonomy for UK & Europe region but under the overall guidance of the Head of International Compensation & Benefits.


  • Engaging within HR to ensure performance related remuneration systems and policies are effectively documented, communicated, planned for, managed and reported with regards to the performance management toolkit and cycle.

  • Ensure that employee data relating to salary, bonus and grade is correctly recorded in the HR system for the region and audit on an annual basis at the time of the salary review.

  • Ensure the regional salary, bonus and benefits are benchmarked using agreed credible data sources and analyse the findings on an annual basis, highlighting any trends, areas of concern or required actions and make recommendations to the Intl Head of C&B in the first instance.

  • Plan for and fully project manage the UK regional annual salary and bonus review (full cycle), creating the required local project teams, documenting and adhering to deadlines and ensuring appropriate and effective administration, moderation, communication tools and correct payment systems are in place.

  • Have a thorough understanding of wider recognition and contribute to the development and use of an international recognition toolkit and apply in the region.

  • Ensure that all local benefits renewals are project planned and renewed in collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Facilitate effective employer and UK pension scheme Trustee relationships, taking forward any required actions and consulting with key stakeholders.

  • Work on wider HR projects as agreed from time to time and which may be regional or international in scope.


  • Be an accomplished HR Reward specialist or an HR generalist with practical experience of salary and bonus reviews, benchmarking, recognition tools, performance management and benefits policies/administration;

  • Have HR experience, ideally with experience of a partnership or professional services environment;

  • Have proven experience of acting as the primary point of contact for a defined population, with the ability to tailor approach and support to the size and needs of the location;

  • Possess strong knowledge of the statutory requirements for remuneration and benefits including basic tax and employment law, with a pragmatic (yet consistent) approach and the ability to find commercial solutions that are in line with best practice, the firm's policies and also meet the needs of the business;

  • Have excellent Excel, Report Writing and PowerPoint skills. Experience of HR systems and data reporting will be of great benefit to the role;

  • Have a good understanding of the HR business partner and specialist team model, with the ability to operate effectively as part of a larger, international HR team within a matrixed, partnership environment;

  • Be able to communicate clearly, effectively and confidently both orally and in writing;

  • Collaborate and share by encouraging team work and building a strong team spirit;

  • Be able to balance a high volume of work and deliver consistently high quality work under pressure;

  • Take the initiative to identify new opportunities and challenge established ways of doing things;

  • Apply specific knowledge and expertise to provide solutions to problems and respond positively and credibly, to overcome any barriers.
