Recruitment Manager

Oakleaf are working on an exciting position for an in-house Recruitment Manager to manage all recruitment for one of the UK's leading independent building services companies.

The company is continuously growing, they are looking for someone to be focused around effectively resourcing and on boarding talent, implementing processes and technology to support the recruitment process and growing a talent pipeline across all levels. As Recruitment Manager, you will play an important part in the supporting the business in growing its talent. You will be providing recruitment strategy and training to hiring managers on an effective recruitment and resourcing processes.

Key Activities:

  • Lead on recruitment for all permanent and temporary roles across the business, working with hiring managers on their current and future resourcing requirements to ensure they recruit the right candidate at the right time by ensuring they have the right recruitment campaign and strategies.

  • Build effective recruitment campaigns and be responsible for developing and managing a set of early careers programmes in the form of apprenticeships and graduate trainee programmes and work placement activity.

  • Lead in various networking events such as job fairs, schools and University events and develop and implement a resourcing strategy to attract diverse talent within the industry. Including designing and developing recruitment campaigns which aim to attract and retain emerging talent and high potential individuals and longer-term solutions.

  • Ensure the smooth running of the recruitment process for external candidates, onsite managers and the hiring managers by monitoring the candidate progress ensuring the candidate has a positive experience, undertake preliminary interviews, schedule all interviews and maintain appropriate recruitment processes and ensure successful candidates are fully on boarded.

Required Knowledge and experience:

  • Good knowledge of MI data and analytical, understanding how this data can support improve business decisions.

  • Talent, HR or Learning & Development background, with a real passion for emerging talent

  • Experience, knowledge and understanding of apprenticeships and graduate intakes, assessment centres and profiling.

  • Experience and knowledge of internal and external resourcing and recruitment process, including designing job descriptions, job adverts and job boards.

  • Experience of both temporary and permanent recruitment, including management of labour supply

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including, written, verbal and presentation skills which can engage multiple audiences.

  • Excellent judgement and a high level of integrity

  • Ability to inspire confidence and respect at all levels

  • Ability to coach senior managers to develop interview and resourcing skills which in turn promotes performance.

  • Demonstrate various skills and tools which lead to the attraction and retention of people.

  • Window, Word, excel and PowerPoint Access HRIS.
