HR Manager, Culture and Change, one year fixed term contract.

The Human Resource Department actively supports the strategic objectives of the organisation by providing strategic leadership and guidance on a range of HR-related areas to managers and employees. It provides a comprehensive HR service including guidance, advice and support on policies, recruitment, remuneration & reward, performance & development, employee relations and engagement and organisational development. Reporting to the Director of HR (Operations), this is a fantastic opportunity for a knowledgeable HR professional who has demonstrable experience in change management to join a dynamic and forward thinking organisation in a challenging and rewarding environment.

This role will provide professional advice and guidance on the people aspects of change and associated HR activities. This role will support the delivery programmes by supporting and coaching line managers in all people matters and working in conjunction with HR colleagues to ensure successful implementation of transformation programmes.

The HR Manager will support the implementation of one or more change transformations within Professional Services as allocated by the Director of HR (Operations) and provide support to all HR activities within the designated areas.

What you'll need to succeed

My client is seeking a HR Professional who has demonstrable skills working in projects, in particular experience of delivering large scale change programmes involving significant culture change. Experience of working extensively in an environment which recognises trade unions and having a record of bringing change in such an environment is essential.

The successful individual will work in collaboration with senior managers to shape, guide and support the planning and delivery of effective people practices and structures. Working largely autonomously, the post holder will be experienced in providing strategic and operational HR advice / guidance and be comfortable in exercising a high degree of initiative, self-motivation and professional judgement. Experience and an ability to forge strong relationships is key.

Base salary £40,792 to £48,677
