HR Business Partner
Start date asap therefore max 1 month notice period would be advantageous.
A growing tech firm are looking for a HR Business Partner to work with one of their newly acquired businesses in East Birmingham. This is a period of evolution for the HR team as they work with the business in a more proactive and strategic partnership.
You will be based out of their modern office in East Birmingham but have presence in their other offices in the Birmingham area. The long-term plan is that this role will be true HR Business Partner but there will be a period of time in moving towards this, as the current postholder works in a generalist capacity. We are therefore looking for a strong HR generalist who is happy to work operationally but has the potential and drive to partner the business, ensuring their people plans support business objectives.
This role will include direct line management.
It's likely that you will have already worked in a Senior HR Advisor or Junior Business Partner role which has required you to manage the full HR remit (including ER) but given you access to work closely with senior managers in a specific client group.
We are looking for:
A Senior HR Advisor, HR Business Partner or HR Manager with experience across a generalist remit
Experience partnering with a client group on proactive HR projects/strategy
Experience ideally within the Tech or IT industry or if not, professional services
Experience of managing complex Employee Relations casework
Line management experience - including PDPs/1:1s
Excellent relationship building skills
Ability to work at pace within a very busy role
CIPD Level 7
