A brand new role reporting into the Head of HR

An operational, hands on HR Manager role supporting at site of approx 400 employees in a manufacturing environment

Description

This is a brand new role reporting into the Head of HR providing an efficient, proactive HR service across the business.

Working with key stake holders across the site building credibility for the HR function and developing relationships

First point of contact on site for all operational HR delivering an efficient, proactive service

Employee relations including a focus on absence management

Developing HR policies and procedures adapting them to site level and rolling out to the business

Working with the HR system in order to run reports, analyse data and have a proactive approach to address key trends

Data cleanse on all HR files in line with GDPR requirements

Develop the HR system to the business requirements

Manage recruitment with a focus on reduction of agency temp spend in line with business commercials

Support the Head of HR with key projects


Profile

  • Have previously worked as a HR Manager in a generalist, hands on role
  • Have previously worked in a complex manufacturing environment
  • Have excellent stake holder management
  • Have HRIS knowledge and reporting in order to develop the system
  • Have previously managed Employee Relations case load along with developing policies/procedures
  • Have the ability to upskill, coach and guide managers

Job Offer

  • Salary £45,000 - £55,000k per annum
