Job Description

•    A member of the management team proactively working to improve the business and its people processes
•    Coach and influence managers and senior stakeholders in the business to achieve consistent standards
•    Support on recruitment and retention
•    Drive employee engagement initiatives, acting on results and continually looking at ways to improve standards
•    Develop job capabilities and job families to create a consistent standard globally across the business unit
•    Work with external consultants on creating a streamlined salary grading system that is adapted to each local market
•    Assist with harmonizing and change management of employees, polices and processes in merger and acquisition projects
•    Ensure compliance with all local labour laws
•    Work with managers on creating a performance and customer driven environment for employees

The Successful Applicant

•    Over 12 years generalist HR experience, with proven capability in a leadership role
•    Master's degree in HR or Business management or equivalent HR qualification
•    Candidates will come from a commercial industrial background such as Oil & Gas or B2B services
•    As this is a global role, candidates will need to have previous experience in a very broad region e.g. EMEA, Americas, APAC, MEA with employee population of at least 500. Candidates will ideally be already living in the Middle East.
•    Comfortable with global travel 60-70% time away from Dubai and managing workload over global time zones.
•    Proven track record in strategic HR management covering projects in change management, organizational design and performance management
•    Strong English communication skills both verbal and written
