Oakleaf Partnership are currently working with an ambitious and dynamic charitable organisation who are looking to appoint an interim Head of HR for a period of 6 months on a fixed term contract basis. As Head of HR you will champion the culture and values whilst managing a small team of 3 within the HR function. As part of the leadership team you will work closely with the executives and senior management team and engage with staff at all levels to position HR at the heart of the business. Working with the Board, and Audit committee you will engage with stakeholders to provide professional advise and guidance.
You'll be responsible for shaping and defining the HR strategic and operational direction, for the organisation.
Enhance and embed HR systems and processes which ensure organisational compliance and efficiencies, whilst encouraging the development of organisational culture.
Developing and deploying employee engagement and growth initiatives, increasing retention through the provision employee benefits and learning and development opportunities.
Driving and imbedding performance management across the organisation, developing management skills and capabilities.
Ensuring and developing employee relations, including the handling of ER cases or complaints, ensuring the organisational adheres to the law and adopts best practices.
To be successful for this position you should be an experienced and dynamic HR professional with the proven track record of leading HR in a fast moving and multi-disciplinary organisation. You should also have experience of working within a commercial or highly specialised organisation. You should be able to demonstrate experience in implementing HR systems, translating organisation strategy into deliverable and leading change across the organisation. You should have team management experience and be able to work within an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment.
