Here at UCL our vision is to transform how the world is understood, how knowledge is created and shared and the way global problems are solved. Every one of our 12,000 employees plays a vital role in achieving this. Within Organisational Development it is our priority to ensure UCL has the talent to achieve its vision, including how we recruit, develop and retain our people. Following a change of HR leadership, a defined HR strategy and a restructure, there are a number of exciting opportunities across the OD team. This is a great time to join and contribute to the development of a world class OD function, at a time of transformation within UCL. We have a genuinely flexible culture at UCL and welcome applicants from individuals interested in part time, job share and flexible working options as well as full time. We are also keen to hear from individuals in any organisational sector.
This newly created role will ensure that the OD team continually innovates and improves its provision. Reporting to the Head of Learning and Deveolpment and working closely with the Innovation and Consultancy team and stakeholders, they will develop and deliver new and innovative OD interventions, focusing on solving specific challenges, rather than a regular calendar of events. Activities will include development programmes, team building, and a new staff mentoring scheme. They will contribute to setting a new standard of excellence across the Higher Education Sector that ensures the delivery of world class support to UCL’s entire staff and post-doctoral community.
The successful candidate will have a track record of learning and development design and delivery. They will be motivated by driving change and achieving tangible results. A strong relationship builder they will enjoy collaborating and will work closely with members of the OD team and a wide range of client groups across UCL. They will have full training lifecycle experience.
