Associate Researcher – Executive Search

We have placed 50 of the most senior roles in Government and successfully worked with 70 NHS Trusts and 105 Local Government Councils over the last year.  On average we place a Chair or CEO in NfP every week, manage over 150 Chair, NED and Council Member assignments a year and are the sole supplier to assess senior civil service talent.  The roles are often unique, at times politically sensitive and always interesting.  
 
Delivering across the public sector at national and local level; our expertise spans Central and Local government, Health, Not for Profit, Technology & Transformation, Regulation, Children’s and Adults’ Services, Housing and Education.  We engage directly with the leadership, operating as a trusted advisor and insightful partner to help find, assess and secure the right talent for their organisation.
 
GatenbySanderson continues to grow and we are looking for hi-calibre individuals to help us to deliver our core services during these busy periods, as a flexible, freelance workforce to support the largest inhouse public sector focused Research team in the UK.
We require individuals to join us as Associates to help us meet the high demands we have for finding talent through Research.  
 
To be successful in the role we need people to have a successful track record of finding, attracting and assessing at Executive level.  You will need strong written skills and an ability to clearly assess and then articulate the merits of individuals and why they should be considered for positions of a senior nature.  Experience of leading face to face interviews and report writing is beneficial.  We require excellent communication skills, attention to detail, tenacity, professional conduct, intellectual curiosity and flexibility in terms of style and approach.  
 
Prior experience, knowledge or interest in the public sector would be advantageous, with an organisation full of experts in the field, there are many opportunities to learn and build sector knowledge.  We offer a clear support structure, training and guidance, flexible working hours, ability to work from home and competitive daily rates.
