The Employee Relations Case Manager's role is to provide accurate, high quality end to end case management support on all aspects of people policy. As a team we take circa 3,000 calls / contacts a week on a wide range of people management issues, so understanding the client's people policies and being able to coach and provide advice is key to being successful in the role. A Case Manager needs to be a great team player with the ability to juggle a demanding workload and work with a range of stakeholders.
You need to be effective in responding decisively and with sound judgement on a variety of employee's issues. You will be skilful at providing managers with risk based options and driving their accountability and capability to make the decision.
The role provides great exposure to identifying key people themes and trends, it's a fast-paced working environment where no two calls or cases are ever the same.
You will have a proven background in Employee Relations and will have a proven track record in managing high volumes of cases from end-to-end. You will therefore have an excellent knowledge of UK employment law and be equipped to judge the severity of employee relations issues they advise on and determine where more experienced or specialist input maybe required.
As an Employee Relations Case Manager, you will have excellent verbal and written communication and have an innate ability to coach, advise and constructively challenge managers of all levels.
You will ideally have existing experience of a similar role within a large organisation from within a Shared Service Centre set-up, however candidates with an Employment Law Specialist or ER focused generalist HR role with also be of interest.
These Employee Relations Case Manager roles are paying from £38,000 to £45,000 per annum, dependent on salary, plus a suit of benefits.
