Employee Relations Specialist

I am currently recruiting an Employee Relations Advisor to provide legally compliant and commercial Employee Relations advice and guidance, building business capabilities to optimise self-service HR and people practices, delivering excellent HR services that mitigates and minimises ER risks


Duties and Responsibilities:


* Providing effective and legally sound Employee Relations advice and guidance, ensuring the most appropriate and commercially beneficial options for ER and people issues are presented to support business decisions
* Delivering efficient and compliant case management, tracking and monitoring ER and people issue trends to identify and maximise opportunities to continually deliver excellent HR services
* Providing and delivering training events to build the capabilities of line managers in accessing and applying HR and people practices safely and compliantly
* Proactively maintaining and updating HR policies and procedures, ensuring the policy framework is up to date and legislatively compliant at all times
* Supporting and contributing to the successful delivery of assigned HR and key projects

Knowledge and skills required:

* Extensive experience of managing employee relations cases within a fast-paced, customer focused, unionised and regulated environment
* Proven track record in delivering and supporting line manager training
* Experience of creating and maintaining HR policies and procedures
