Your new role
Apprenticeship Development Specialist required to work across all programmes to manage the quality apprenticeship provision, ensuring a great development experience for all apprentices.
Produce regular reports and insight on quality performance across all apprenticeships
Lead regular service reviews with external training providers and internal L&D teams to ensure quality and compliance standards are maintained and produce quality improvement plans as necessary
Ensures the quality of the programme meets the requirements set out in the apprenticeship standards, aiming for high success rates and at distinction level
Ensure the 20% off the job time delivers an effective outcome for the apprentice and the operation and is measurable from a compliance perspective and return on investment perspective
Managing end point assessment process and plans for apprenticeships
Brief and ensure line managers, coaches and mentors provide quality apprentice provision
Ensuring all policies and processes adhered to for apprentices such as working hours, safeguarding, and prevent agenda.
Support the build of new scheme apprenticeship development provision to include identifying and embedding training providers, contract management, and alignment to internal L&D programme with timely measures of success included
Lead on review and new apprentice trailblazer standards to ensure the offering works for the organisation
Ensure subcontracted training provider partners work within company guidelines.


What you'll need to succeed
L&D background
Programme management experience preferred
Proven subject matter expert in apprenticeships with a strong delivery focus
Ability to manage suppliers
Process management
Ability to build trust and be credible at different levels within the organization.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Methodical and Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong stakeholder management and customer oriented.
Ability to take initiative, and a self-starter
Must be flexible with national travel
