Oakleaf Partnership are currently working with a leading fashion retail brand who are looking to appoint a Regional HR Business Partner to join their team. You will be responsible for the global flagship as well as other Central London stores. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a HR team who are market leading and extremely forward thinking. The role will be based in the head office in Central London and will cover the retail population. The role will report to the National Business Partner and have line management responsibilities for a HR Officer and HR Assistant. You will engage you stakeholders to create a culture where people are at the central and collaborate with the L&D and Recruitment Partners to drive the people strategy.
Leads National and Regional projects to ensure they are innovative and have the right commercial impact.
Responsible for overseeing an in- store HR team of two and all HR activity on the Region, you work with your wider team to drive HR and Recruitment KPI's, costs, and team engagement.
Supports complex and high risk ER cases nationally.
Works closely with Central London Talent Acquisition Partner to ensure management vacancies are filled in a timely and effective manner.
Acts as sounding board to Head of Global Flagship in making people decisions.
Focuses on long term objectives as well as achieving the immediate challenges working with the other functions in the Brand to ensure a joined up approach.
Utilises your network to seek new ideas and approaches for the business.
Holds weekly meetings with HR and Recruitment teams to ensure strategic goals are being worked towards and teams remain joined up.
Acts as a coach to the Regional team, and the rest of the HR team using HR knowledge and experience to ensure there is a culture where wellbeing matters, and a sense of community.
Acts as a role model and is able to adapt leadership styles to create a climate where the team can grow.
Focuses on personal development, seeks feedback and seizes opportunities to learn and develop.
Personally takes responsibility for keeping up to date with employment law changes from an ER perspective and ensuring that this is cascaded to retail stakeholders
Influences the Senior Team and is not afraid to make unpopular decisions if there is a risk to the business
To be successful for this position you should have experience working in a similar pacey, commercial retail or similar organisation within a HR Manager or Business Partner role. You should have a strong ability to influence, challenge and communicate confidently with senior stakeholders. You should be able to respond under pressure and display sound business knowledge.
