Talent Acquisition Consultant - Global Insurance firm
My client is a leading City based insurance firm with a global presence. They are looking to hire a Talent Acquisition Consultant who will be responsible for the full recruitment cycle; moving between strategic thinking, business partnering and operational delivery.
Creates and executes the recruiting strategy and recruiting operations for the business. Leads the recruiting team (hiring manager, interviewers and HR business partner) during each search and ensures that everyone is performing their role and the team is meeting recruiting goals.
Develops sourcing strategies to support the business. Knows the best sourcing channels to reach different candidate segments.
Identifies and assesses candidates, conducts pre-screens, interviews and obtains feedback from management and candidates.
Leads and participates in a variety of projects focused on continuous improvement, operational excellence, and modernizing the function.
Develops a database of high potential, passive candidates through pipelining efforts and relationship recruiting.
Advises hiring managers and generalist with offer recommendations. Extends and negotiates offers.
Participates in maintaining and monitoring vendor relationships and makes vendor recommendations to management as needed.
Prepares and submits staffing activity and analysis as well as other reports for management.
Stays current on hiring trends, competitor information and employment market conditions.
An ambassador, focus and enhance the diversity initiatives. Representing the business at external events / campaigns?
Ensure all recruitment activity is tracked through online portal
Delivering a cost effective and efficient service in line with all relevant budgets.
Manages the hiring process for the annual internship programme
Management of preferred supplier agreements, compliance with SLA's and service requirements.
Ensure all preferred suppliers understand, market and sell the firm's employment offering accurately and professionally.
Comply with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements and ensure, at a level appropriate to the position, that appropriate measures are in place to ensure this compliance
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
Demonstrable expertise within the in-house talent attraction and recruitment space. Depth of technical skills appropriate to the role.
Ability to develop or implement line management educational and assessment tools.
Expert practitioner of social media for candidate attraction and brand awareness.
Analytical, with the ability to build and interpret data and trends.
Education & Experience
Ideally "A" level education
Insurance Industry or broader financial services experience would be an advantage, 7 years of more recruiting experience in a fast paced, changing environment
