I'm currently working with a global asset management firm based in Mayfair, on an opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join them as an HR Assistant.

In this position you would work very closely with the HRBP, and in a total team of 3 would gain terrific exposure to the HR function, and all processes. The HR team are big personalities and fit is very important so they're looking for someone that has a great sense of humour, strength of character, that is highly motivated and especially very eager to do the job very well and develop their career.

It would be preferable if candidates had prior experience with the system Workday.

Responsibilities would include, but certainly not be limited to:

  • Manage onboarding and offboarding

  • Produce MI

  • Maintain policy and procedure updates

  • Support employee programmes and training sessions

  • Contribute to HR projects

  • Assist with recruitment

  • Act as a central POC for employees on general HR queries

  • Manage all data entry in the HR system Workday, and for preparation of payroll

  • Prepare documents such as offer packs, presentations, letters etc.

My client is looking for candidates that:

  • Continuously seek to identify ways of improving their own work and that will have suggestions for ways of working more effectively across the HR team

  • Will always use their initiative and thinks outside the box

  • Is graduated to degree level or equivalent

  • Has HR administration experience in a financial or professional services firm
