The objective of the HR department is to advise, support and partner with the business to enable the Bank to achieve its strategic intent. The constantly changing commercial and regulatory landscape heavily dictates the way in which the Bank operates and evolves, and our role in HR is to support the business in their people plans by hiring the right people, training them well and ensuring that our reward strategy aligns to the desired conduct and culture of the Bank.

This role is a strategic partner to the Head of HR and HR Management Team (HRMT), building key relationships with both HR and the business. Shape, drive and operationalise key strategic activities. Support the Head of HR in achieving desired results through others, particularly through the process of creating, sharing and using information to help drive priorities and focus the attention of the HRMT in the desired direction.

MI and Reporting

  • Deliver framework for timely, accurate reporting and analytics for HR

  • Support the continued review of efficiency and effectiveness of existing HR department MI and reporting, with a view to developing and embedding improvements to bank wide people data reporting and analytics that drive decision making

  • Produce MI and reports for use in senior management, Governance Committee and Remuneration Committee meetings

  • Manage the GovCo Conduct and Culture dashboard MI process

  • Lead on the collation and drafting of the HR update for the quarterly Board report

  • Support Head of Reward on Balanced Scorecard reporting for the Bank

Project Management

  • Work closely with the Head of HR Operations and Programme Management to oversee, and manage where applicable, projects across HR

  • Ensure appropriate resources are assigned to projects

  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and to expectation

  • Provide timely updates to stakeholders

  • Conduct, and act on feedback from, Post Implementation Reviews

HR and Head of HR Support

  • Support the Head of HR and Head of HR Operations in the monitoring and delivery of the overall HR plan

  • As requested by the Head of HR, review and assess the HR operating model with a view to enhancing efficiency, effectiveness and consistency across the team

  • Manage key HR meetings including the HR Management Team Meeting and HR Operations Meeting

  • Act as a delegate for the Head of HR in forums and committees as required

  • Prepare ad hoc presentations for the Head of HR

  • Develop agendas, produce briefing papers, provide guidance on external and internal meetings for the Head of HR

  • Draft and review HR/Head of HR communications and support effective communication across the HR team

Business Change

  • Support Head of HR and HRBPs in providing input and perspective to broader Organisation Design and Effectiveness matters - includes coordination of design data where appropriate

Ideally you will have banking knowledge and Financial analytics and reporting skills experience. You will need to have experience as a Business Manger ideally within an HR function
