A leading specialist Law Firm are recruiting for a Learning & Development Coordinator to join their team. Reporting into the Learning & Development Manager, this role will support the implementation and delivery of the firm's Learning & Development Programme. Working closely with the HR BP and wider HR team, as the Learning & Development Coordinator, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):

  • Assisting the L&D Manager, HR Director and others in the coordination of the design, implementation and delivery of all L&D solutions

  • Acting as a point of contact for all queries in relation to L&D programme for partners, fee earners and business services staff

  • Developing excellent relationships with external L&D suppliers ensuring that all aspects of the relationship run smoothly

  • Administering all aspects of L&D programmes and training courses including coordinating appropriate invitation lists, booking rooms and refreshments, providing joining instructions and collating pre and post course evaluations

  • Proactively coordinating the feedback process including compiling report which details themes and then sharing with L&D Manager and HR Director

  • Coordination, administration and facilitation of the firm wide induction programme for all new starters to the firm, liaising with HR BP's as required

  • Dealing with all external training course requests including booking places, liaising with attendees, organising and raising payment etc.

  • Assisting the HR BP team by coordinating appropriate individual performance management interventions as required

  • Assisting the HRD with the administration of development opportunities for the Partner/leadership group

  • Keeping up to date with the firm's register of coaches and providing information to the HRD and or L&D Manager

  • Assisting the L&D Manager and HRD in managing L&D budgets

As the Learning & Development Coordinator, you will possess:

  • Eighteen months to two years previous experience in an L&D capacity within Professional Services

  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities often with conflicting deadlines

  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written strong attention to detail

  • Strong MS Office skills

  • Degree (2:1+) and/or CIPD (preferred)
