Recruitment & Diversity Advisor - Legal

An international Law firm based in The City are looking for a Recruitment Advisor to join their team. This role has an international remit and you will be responsible for the associate and paralegal recruitment. As the Recruitment Advisor, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):

  • Liaising with hiring partners and managers to establish requirements of roles

  • Advertising and direct sourcing where possible

  • Managing agencies and liaising with preferred agencies and briefing them on current requirements

  • Interviewing at all levels and conducting both technical and competency-based interviews with partners

  • Contributing with salary benchmarking and completing benchmark assessments

  • Managing partners expectations and giving constructive and best practise advice

  • Producing detailed job specifications and working with partners to structure appropriate screening practices and interviews in line with specific requirements

  • Managing process through to offer stage and acceptance

  • Developing close working relationships with the HR Managers/Advisors

  • Assisting the Recruitment Manager and Global HR Director with recruitment of Lateral Partners

  • Assisting with the Graduate Recruitment panel

  • Developing a Diversity & Inclusion strategy alongside the Diversity Manager

  • Establishing and building on internal networks

  • Raising awareness and promoting Diversity & Inclusion internally

As the Recruitment Advisor, you will possess:

  • Extensive law firm or Professional Services recruitment experience

  • Fee earning recruitment experience and experience of conducting competency-based interviews

  • Sound understanding of legal industry

  • Understanding of general HR practice and the implication certain issues have on recruitment

  • Education to degree level or equivalent

  • Flexible approach

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
