The organisation is going through a period of change and needs a senior OD Consultant to cover a period of maternity leave.

You will be a subject matter expert working directly with senior leaders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the leadership team to refine the OD and Change Methodology and Toolkits including leading training and coaching

  • Support on major projects (including M&A) providing analysis of structures, headcount and costings

  • Take the lead on OD projects and work as the single point of contact to the business and HRBP team

  • Leading as-is business assessments including data gathering, interviews and workshops

  • Developing the capability of the HR community to hold detailed OD discussions

  • Supporting the business in designing future model options and transitional structures leading option evaluation workshops

  • Dealing with ad hoc data analysis requests, recommendations and presentations

  • Deliver culture assessment and baseline activities relating to new acquisitions alongside other cultural integration initiatives

  • Provide expert advice and support in the people side of change - supporting a series of projects assigned to the role and ensuring that best practice people change methodology is deployed

Key skills required

  • Previous experience either within Consulting or a Senior OD role. Experience within a matrix organisation is required
  • Graduate, ideally with a professional accreditation in a change management methodology

  • Business experience and HR experience (must know key HR lifecycle and business models and processes)

  • Analytical and Strategy disciplines with financial analysis as well as classic OD/OE analysis skills

  • Consulting skills

  • Stakeholder management
