HR Officer

My client, a global consultancy and executive search firm are currently seeking a polished HR Officer to join the London team.

You will be a fully integrated member of the Global HR team, developing relationships with the various support functions as appropriate.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Global VP HR and HR Business Partner, Europe with general administrative HR activities.

  • Process employee information: new, current, changes, leavers etc.

  • Send out and process all new joiner start-up paperwork.

  • Send out and process pre-employment references, mortgage and leaver references.

  • Manage EA and support staff probation meetings and draft relevant paperwork.

  • Manage Parental leave meetings and produce all appropriate documentation for the employee and monthly payroll process.

  • Hold exit meetings with EA/support staff leavers and collate all leavers' paperwork.

  • Assist with ad hoc HR projects.

  • Work closely with the European payroll specialist to run the UK monthly payroll processes for 4 entities in the UK.

  • Manage the benefit administration for UK employees (across 4 payrolls), eg: pensions, BUPA, season ticket loans, corporate gym membership and childcare voucher scheme.

  • Maintain electronic UK HR files including new joiners, leavers, transfers, service awards, anniversaries and birthdays.

  • Work with the HR Business Partner and Global VP HR to implement and maintain Company policy.

  • ER meetings

  • Responsible for all Executive Assistant permanent recruitment.

  • Process approvals for support staff, EA hires and others when required.

  • Compile UK employment contracts and organise work permits and visas.

Experience:

  • Experience of working within a HR environment.

  • Knowledge and experience of Workday HR would be a plus.

  • Experience of working alongside payroll would be beneficial..

  • Experience of prioritising and resolving business problems and issues effectively.

  • Collaborates well with colleagues and understands the importance of good business relationships.
