Reporting into the recently appointed Group HR Director, this role will play a key part in driving the HR agenda forward.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for the (soon to be implemented ) new HR System, HR data and MI and group wide policies and procedures. We're looking for someone who can help shift the organisations' expectations around HR delivery and who will build a team which puts its internal customer's needs at the heart of everything they do, and truly understands the that their impact on the end customer is key

The successful candidate will have responsibility for managing and coaching a small yet dedicated HR Services (and Business Admin team) totalling c15 who have done a great job in getting the organisation to where it is today. Moving forward, there is more to be achieved and the successful candidate will be an inspiring leader and mentor.

Whilst not an all-inclusive list, responsibilities will cover employee relations case management, recruitment & resource planning, data analytics & data/information repository for all HR initiatives (e.g. creating an HR Knowledge Bank), new joiners, movers and leavers, HR system management, policies & processes (new & updates), third party management & procurement.

Technical and operational HR experience will be a given. We're looking for a bright, confident, down to earth, commercial, collaborative team player who will drive the organisation's operational HR and be an HR Continuous Improvement Champion. An overriding sense of commerciality and focus on data and delivery is key as is a keen eye for detail.

"Rolling up one's sleeves" will also be important and we will be looking for candidates to demonstrate they can work at pace in a fast moving highly competitive business.

Sector experience is not important, although working on an international basis would be beneficial

Who will this role suit?

It will be highly attractive to candidates for a variety of reasons. For example, you may wish to bring your skills and experience from a larger blue-chip organisation to be the HR Services expert in a smaller, agile and values driven organisation. Making the move to a complex organisation such as this will not be for everyone however, there's a minimal corporate infrastructure for a start and you'll need to be happy with being hands on.

Alternatively, you may already be in a similar role in a medium sized business and ready for a change. If so you'll need to demonstrate your ability to translate your experience to a rapidly growing international organisation.
