HR Systems Reporting Analyst
Your role will be to support the management of all aspects of staff data reporting, in particular, complex and strategic reporting. To support the management and provision of data received via Freedom of Information Requests. To act as the interface between operational teams and internal and external stakeholders - to ensure that the overall approach to the delivery of HR reporting is consistent and comprehensive. To be instrumental in working with IT colleagues to support the process of migrating reporting from the current system (Discoverer Reporting) to the organisation's new tool - Power BI
Key Responsibilities & Duties will include the following and more:
- Act as the key contact for HR data and manage the HR Systems reporting agenda. This activity will include strategic, statutory, scheduled and ad hoc reporting alongside the provision of data to support activities such as audit visits, the HESA Staff Return and external surveys.
- Continually review existing reporting methodology and processes to identify ways of streamlining/delivering efficiencies, working with colleagues to maximise the system functionality to automate processes where possible.
- Assist with managing data quality - working closely with colleagues to orchestrate/disseminate exception/error reports - helping to highlight gaps and working with the training colleagues to support this process
- Support system developments and enhancements, establishing or creating new protocols, applying practical application and working closely with the ResourceLink Trainer.
What you'll need to succeed
Looking for someone with a big personality to further enhance this team. Ideally looking for someone that has had previous HR/Payroll system administration experience, such as, pay spines, grades, terms of conditions, pay elements and payroll structures.
Prior use of ResourceLink (HR/Payroll system), Discoverer, Cognos, Business Objects or Power BI reporting tools is desired.
Essential: great excel skills & proven SQL and reporting skills with the ability to design, build and deliver complex management information
