I am currently working with a professional services firm who are looking to hire an HR Manager to sit within their People Operations team. This team offer HR Advisory and HR Case Administration services across the firm.
This person will work closely with other People Operations leaders and act as an escalation point for complex ER matters. Responsibilities will include:
- Offering guidance and expertise on ER issues including performance and absence management;
- Working closely with managers to address specific team concerns and making suggestions for improvements;
- Managing a team of experienced HR/ER Advisors and Managers and taking a lead on own team's development;
- Providing general advice and guidance on other generalist aspects including bonuses, salary reviews, promotions etc.
To be considered for this role, extensive HR experience is required and high volume ER/case management exposure is highly desirable. As this person will have 8 direct reports, previous experience of managing a team (of any size) is required. Experience of a shared services centre would also be of assistance as this role will sit within a similar environment.
Naturally, communication and leadership skills are crucial.
