HR Advisor

We're working with a global investment bank on an interesting HR opportunity for an HR Advisor that will work closely with the HRBP and Head of HR for a specific function which will include 'front office'. This will suit candidates that have broad generalist HR experience gained from working in a financial services firm.

The role will support the HRBP and be aligned to their business area, rather than have ownership of the client group yourself. Work would therefore naturally filter down from the HRBP but you would work with the business directly.

Responsibilities would more specifically include:

  • Support the HRBP on delivery of HR solutions to the business

  • Support on ER cases as required such as for disciplinary and grievance procedures, taking minutes and updating MI reports

  • Build relationships with employees in the business and support with advice and guidance on policies

  • Consult with the HR Ops team on management of employee lifecycle processes

  • Regular reporting and analysis

  • Support the HRBP during annual compensation review, and regulatory requirements such as SMCR

  • Ad-hoc project support

Candidates suitable for this opportunity will:

  • Be comfortable with HR advisory responsibilities

  • Have worked in financial services

  • Ideally have an HR qualification and be educated to degree level or equivalent

  • Have gravitas and confidence building relationships with the business

  • Have a flexible and supportive attitude
