I am currently recruiting for a Talent Acquisition Manager for a leading Investment Management firm in City. The business is looking to hire a Talent Acquisition Manager to identify, source and screen candidates to fill job openings through direct sourcing and agencies/search firms. The role is positioned within the broader Talent Team and the role holder is accountable for certain projects and for being fully integrated across appropriate HR topics such as talent management and D&I.
This role is responsible for all hiring in the UK and for supporting the hiring of roles in the US, it is part of a globally focused and integrated talent acquisition team, there could be roles in other locations in Europe.
Establish and maintain relationships with HRBPs and hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs.
Identify the right sourcing strategy for each role / segment including social media, referrals, alumni, specialist conferences/events, career sites, job boards.
Efficiently manage the sourcing and recruitment process (publish, source, screen) and be able to provide HRBPs with additional support where needed to interview, make offers and on-board.
Efficiently use the recruitment tool - Taleo, in line with internal processes and in a consistent manner with the rest of the TA team.
Gather and analyse competitive industry information regarding salary, benefits, and employment practices.
Ensure a quality driven and compliant recruitment process, taking into account local legal aspects and company processes and especially ensuring compliance with GDPR and relevant legislation.
Build a high level of external market understanding by establishing and maintaining direct contacts with professionals in the market, employment sources, agencies, search firms.
Build a high level of knowledge of internal talent within the Group in order to effectively source internal candidates. Build internal relationships with other entities and resourcing platforms to ensure this.
Ensure accurate and robust information regarding potential candidate education, experience, training, job skills, salary requirements, availability, interest level. Coordinate pre-employment process by running background and reference checks with the support of the HR Operations team.
Contribute to the Recruitment Plan process involving HRBPs and managers and ensuring that it is linked to succession planning and internal mobility plans.
Pro-actively map the competitor landscape to identify high value target candidates using internet-based research techniques.
Contribute to the creation of reporting which is presented to the HR senior team, senior managers and the Management Board.
Contribute to specific projects across the TA team responsibility area including the training of hiring managers on recruitment assessment/process/technique/capability, focus of the TA team to contribute to D&I commitments e.g. increasing women at senior levels, and introducing new assessment techniques and methods.
Minimum 2 years of experience in research, sourcing and recruitment within an Executive Search firm.
Minimum 2 years of experience in an in-house recruitment team, or RPO environment.
Recruiting for roles within the asset management industry, Real Asset/Estate experience is desirable but not essential.
Experience of other HR or business related fields would be beneficial.
Experience of managing projects, process improvement and senior stakeholders.
