Head of Organisational Design
£57,000 - £62,000 total package plus pension
My client works closely with charities and community groups, driving projects which benefit communities across the UK. Having re-focused how they work with their client base, their people are hands-on and out in the community to engage and support. We are looking for their Head of Organisational Design, who will ensure that the business and its processes are structured in a way which will support their people and this approach.
Based just outside of Birmingham city centre, you will be responsible for developing process and strategy around talent and performance management, organisational design and wider cultural change. Your role reports into the HR Director and manages a small team whose focus is in and around Learning and Development.
We are looking for a talented HR leader who can thrive in a duel operational/strategic role and manage long term end to end projects. Able to implement the basics well, you will have a strong operational grounding across Human Resources and spend the first 12 months embedding processes which will ensure that staff are developed in the right way. Additionally, you will work with the business to identify strategic improvements in its organisational design which will support longer term cultural/behavioural change.
We are looking for:
A senior HR professional from either an Operations background who can work strategically or a HR Business Partner wanting to take on bigger strategic projects.
Experience of working with the business to identify organisational design improvements
Experience implementing capability strategy to include performance management, talent management and succession planning.
End to end Project Management experience - ideally change/transformation
Direct line management experience (3 people or more)
A drive to work within a values-based organisation
