Talent Acquisition Specialist

A leading international banking organisation is looking for experienced recruitment business partners wiho have supported 'functions' client groups, ideally within financial services.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of talent acquisition process for the Operations function and manage talent aligned to internal projects.

  • Operate as a key subject matter expert in the attraction and hiring of talent into the organisation

  • Attract, develop, engage, and deploy candidates across multiple regions, including cross border transfers

  • Collaborate with local HRBP/HR Service Delivery teams on reporting, governance and risk management

  • Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs

  • Determine selection criteria and source potential candidates through online channels

  • Design job descriptions, plan interview and selection procedures

  • Lead employer branding initiatives

  • Forecast quarterly and annual hiring needs

  • Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates

  • Point of escalation within the country for issues, risks and compliance breaches

  • Accountable for meeting the budgeted recruitment targets across time, quality & cost,

  • Guide the business on talent acquisition planning

  • Manage relationships with preferred vendors, manage non-compliant and niche supplier activity

Knowledge and Experience

  • Proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role, ideally within financial services RPO or inhouse environments

  • Track record of building and developing strong, sustainable relationships with internal stakeholders

  • Successful track record of placingmid to senior (Analyst to VP level) candidates

  • Experience of PSL management and negotiating supplier agreements

  • Experience of working in a complex matrix

  • Familiarity with social media, cv databases and professional networks (e.g. Linkedin and Taleo)

  • Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods

  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs)

  • Ability to work effectively in virtual International teams
