Senior HR Advisor - Financial Services

My client is a leading global asset management business based in the City and now looking to hire a Senior HR Advisor with Employee Relations case management experience.

The Senior HR Advisor will provide support to HR Business Partners and their respective client groups to deliver end-to-end HR advice to employees and Line Managers, ensuring timely and accurate execution of HR solutions and interventions.

They will deliver day to day administrative and advisory support to the business, focussing on providing seamless support to the business across the spectrum of HR delivery, including but not limited to:

  • Resourcing, Talent Management and Development
  • Performance Management
  • Reward and recognition
  • Employee Relations

Role Responsibilities:

Business Engagement

  • Act as a first point of contact for employees and Line Managers
  • Manage queries to the HR team, escalating to the HRBP or delegating to the HR Administrator as appropriate
  • Advise the business on policy and process gaining 'trusted advisor' status

Employee Lifecycle

  • Maintain all templates for Employment offers / contracts and correspondence to support changes to contractual terms, inclusive of settlement agreements

Resourcing and On-boarding

  • Work with Hiring Managers and the Resourcing Team to effectively and efficiently source high quality talent through recruitment best practice, from intake meeting through to offer stage

Employee Relations

  • Responsible for coordinating the ongoing development / refinement of HR policies and processes, working to ensure consistency of approach and compliance with current employment legislation

  • Work with the HR Business Partners and Line Managers to foster adherence to Firm policies and procedures, set out in the relevant Employee Handbooks, and the firm's Code of Ethics

Performance Management

  • Support Line Managers through the evaluation process, advising on process, timelines and support throughout

  • Support the HRBP to ensure 100% completion of the annual process within the specific client groups whilst encouraging quality of discussion and feedback

Reward and Recognition

  • Assist the HRBP to facilitate job matching and input for external salary surveys

  • Support the HRBP to deliver the annual salary and incentive review process

Key Capabilities:
