About Our Client
My client are a not for profit charitable care services business based in the South West of England.They provide care and housing services to a diverse customer base and meet a range of needs for these people.
Having been in existence for over a century they are a well established organisation, yet they look very different today to who they were even 10 years ago. It is this theme of evolvement and change that continues to be paramount to them as they look to continue to adapt and provide their services in the best way and as required.
The successful applicant will be responsible for developing and implementing the people strategy, acting as a key member and voice of the executive team and ensuring the HR offering works in conjunction and in alignment with the overall business' objectives.

The Successful Applicant
To be progressed for this role you will need:
-demonstrable examples of a broad and deep HR generalist skill set and background
-to have operated previously as part of a senior leadership team or board.
The ability to provide thought leadership, strategic advice and credibility is the key here.
-people management experience.
-ideally to have previously worked in a care or support sector. If not we would look for examples of how you would adjust to the sensitivities and complexities of this sector, including but not limited to the highly regulated element of it.
-to be CIPD qualified or equivalent
-working knowledge of employment law such as TUPE, health and safety and pensions regulations is essential.
