HR Manager

The European subsidiary of a market-leading international Group, this profitable and highly ambitious company manufactures a range of fast-moving consumer goods products on behalf of the major supermarkets and broader retail sector. The business, which boasts an impressive track record of growth and an ongoing appetite for investment, is seeking a high calibre HR professional to help drive its people agenda. 

This high-profile role will have responsibility for providing generalist support across a dynamic, high-volume manufacturing operation co-located with the company’s European Head Office. Working closely with the factory leadership team, the emphasis of the role will be on building a high-performing culture through the provision of best-practice HR interventions whilst dealing with a wide range of day-to-day operational issues in a 24/7 environment. The appointed candidate will also collaborate as an important member of the wider Group HR community in the delivery of a range of other strategic initiatives. 

Candidates, of degree calibre and CIPD qualified, will have proven experience in a similar role gained with a progressive manufacturing company, preferably in a unionised environment. Proactivity along with excellent relationship building and influencing skills are essential and strong candidates will be able to demonstrate how they have added meaningful value in their current/most recent role. Whilst we are seeking candidates with good all-round generalist HR experience, a specific interest in engagement, leadership development and change management is highly desirable.
